Original Providence Baptist Church seeks to become a healthy “Great Commission” Church where people of all walks of life, cultural and ethnic backgrounds can come together to worship and serve God.
Our Core Beliefs
Original Providence Core Beliefs are the principles that lay the foundation of our walk with God. These are profound beliefs that are so precious to us that no external pressure will force us to compromise them.
The Bible is God’s Word and is THE final authority for all life. II Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 1:16 and 2:12; Proverbs 30:5; Philippians 3:16.
Our Core Values
Original Providence core values are the positive preferences and choices we make, both deliberately and spontaneously in daily life. These are the values we strive to model in our lifestyles and behavior.
We Are a Historical Church with a Progressive Agenda.
